"Filament bulbs vs Led bulbs"
Mag-lite or a or some other brand that you like to use. Have you ever noticed how the batteries
go down very rapidly even when you don't use it much? Have you ever had to hit the back of the
flashlight to get it to light come on or stay on? Have you ever been using the flashlight and
accidentally dropped it and had the bulb burn out? These are common problems with the old

Flashlight filament bulbs have a very short life span of about 15 hours compared to 10,000

that can break if dropped or shaken. The LED bulb in a flashlight can be dropped without any
damage to the LED bulb. However dropping some flashlights could damage the flashlight but
not the LED replacement bulb. The LED replacement bulb is shock proof and vibration
resistant. There is no filament to ever burnout or break in a LED replacement bulb. Flashlight
filament bulbs produce heat by causing current to flow through the filament to produce light. The
LED has no filament to produce heat so it runs cooler than the filament flashlight bulb. Using a
LED-Replacement will extend the flashlight's battery life 2 to 5 times as compared to battery life
when using an incandescent or halogen bulb. Quit wasting money on batteries for a energy
hungry filament bulb. Let your batteries last longer with a energy efficient LED replacement bulb
in your favorite flashlight.
